Equipment

  • measuring cup
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound bacon
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, I used a pan that was about 9 x 14.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and pinch together seams to form a large, connected, layer of dough.
  • Use a fork to prick the dough, to avoid bubbling.
  • Precook your bacon, just enough that it is almost done – a dark pink color, but you do not want it to be crispy. It will get crispy in the oven. Drain the oil from bacon with paper towels.
  • Drizzle half of the maple syrup over the dough, then sprinkle about half of the brown sugar on the dough.
  • Add the bacon, spread evenly over the dough.
  • Drizzle the rest of the syrup over the bacon and top it off with the rest of the brown sugar.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes until bacon is crispy and caramelized. Wait about 10 minutes to cool before cutting into it, good luck fighting everyone off that long!
