Ingredients

carrots

butter

maple syrup

brown sugar

sea salt

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F and cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Peel the carrots and slice them all lengthwise then place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
In a microwave-safe small bowl, add the butter and microwave for 30 seconds.
Add in maple syrup, brown sugar, sea salt, and black pepper and mix together well.
Brush the sliced carrots with the butter mixture, or dip each carrot slice in brown sugar mixture and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until fork-tender.
Remove them from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
