Mountain Dew Biscuits

These Mountain Dew Biscuits are soft, flaky, and full of buttery flavor. They are great for breakfast or even a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mountain Dew
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups bisquick
  • ½ cup butter melted

Honey butter Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup butter very soft
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Flake sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, mix the Mountain Dew, sour cream and Bisquick together. Do not overmix, just enough to make sure the ingredients are combined.
  • Melt the butter and pour about half of it into a 9” x 13” pan and brush it over the bottom and sides of the pan.
  • Scoop equal sizes of biscuit dough and place in the pan.
  • Pour the remaining butter over the top of the biscuits and place in the oven to bake for 15 -20 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove and serve while warm. Pairs well with honey butter–recipe below!
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Honey Butter Directions:

  • In a small bowl, whisk the butter, honey and cinnamon together until smooth and there are no lumps.
  • Top with flake sea salt.
  • Spread on warm biscuits!
