Pizza Wonton Cups

Pizza wonton cups are loaded with classic pepperoni pizza flavor with a crispy twist - crispy wonton crusts! They're the perfect appetizer.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Muffin tin
  • Nonstick spray

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces wonton wraps
  • 14 ounces pizza sauce
  • 3 ounces pepperoni slices about 50 pieces of pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • ½ cup miniature pepperoni

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray a muffin tin with non-stick spray.
  • Add wonton wraps to the muffin tin cups, two per cup, alternating where the corners will stand up to form your cups. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the corners are beginning to turn golden brown.
  • Then, chop the larger pepperoni slices in half. In a bowl, mix together pizza sauce and halved pepperoni slices.
  • Scoop about 2-3 tbsp. of sauce and pepperoni into each baked wonton cup.
  • Top with a generous pinch of shredded cheese. Finally, top with 3-4 miniature pepperoni.
  • Return the cups to the oven for about 10 minutes, until all of the cheese is melted and bubbly.
