Cheesy Taco Pasta

This easy Cheesy Taco Pasta is a cinch to throw together for a weeknight meal. Everyone will be begging for seconds for this comfort food!

  • 1lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. shell pasta
  • 2 tablespoon. olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup prepared salsa
  • 1 15oz. can of black beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese ( up to 2 cups)


  1. In a large pan bring water to boil. Add shell and cook Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook ground beef until browned, drain excess fat and set aside.

  3. Heat olive oil and add chopped onion, bell pepper, and spices, stir. 

  4. Add ground beef back into pan and then add black beans and stir thoroughly  

  5.  Add salsa, 1 cup of water, salt, pepper, and stir again. 

  6. Add shells to ground beef mixture, stir, add cheese, stir again, and serve.
