- 1 cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ⅓ cups flour
- 1 cup large chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350o F(170C).
Melt and brown the butter slowly and carefully.
Pour the browned butter into a large bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
Add white and brown sugar, mix with a spatula until butter is fully incorporated.
Next, add egg, peanut butter, salt and baking soda, mix with spatula for like 30
seconds until you have a slime-like consistency.
Lastly add flour and chocolate chips and stir with spatula.
Scoop the dough with an ice-cream scoop onto a silpat mat or a parchment paper-lined
baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
When cookies are still hot, carefully place the peanut butter cups on top of the cookies.
Do not touch peanut butter cups before they are all cooled down.
Cool completely before serving.
