Sand Bucket Dessert

This Sand Bucket Dessert is the perfect festive dessert to celebrate summer. Layers of cake, pudding, and graham crackers make up this treat.

  • 8 ounce clear plastic buckets
  • paper umbrellas

Ingredients

  • 15.25 ounces white cakemix
  • Water oil and eggs the box calls for
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons blue sprinkles
  • 6.8 ounces cheesecake instant pudding two 3.4 ounce boxes
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1 ½ cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • Teddy grahams
  • Rainbow stripe candy

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine the cake mix and the water, oil and eggs the box calls for.
  • Add the juice of one lemon to the cake mix.
  • Add the sprinkles to the cake mix.
  • Pour the cake batter into a prepared 9x13 baking dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Slice into bite size squares.
  • Set aside to cool.
  • Meanwhile prepare the pudding.
  • Combine the cheesecake with the milk and whisk.
  • Add in the blue food coloring until you get your desired shade of blue.
  • Into your buckets divide the cake squares into each of the 10 buckets.
  • Next top each one with the blue pudding.
  • Top each one evenly with the vanilla wafer crumbs.
  • Decorate the top of each one with an umbrella, 2 teddy graham and a little beach blanket cut out of the rainbow stripe candy.
  • Refrigerate for an hour.
  • Serve!
