Ingredients

  • 20 ounces Cajun 15 Bean Soup mix
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups diced ham about 2 to 3 cups diced ham
  • 15 ounces Great Northern beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes

Instructions

  • Add the Cajun 15 Bean Soup mix, chicken broth, diced ham, Great Northern beans, onion, carrots, garlic, chili powder, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning to the slow cooker.
  • Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on High for 6 to 8 hours or Low for 8 to 10 hours, until the beans are tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the diced tomatoes.
  • Cover and continue cooking for the remaining 30 minutes.
  • Stir, ladle into bowls, and serve warm.
