This slow cooker beef ramen is loaded with tender steak, crisp, tender broccoli and bell peppers, classic Asian spices, and ramen noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds steak cut into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 2 packets of ramen noodles
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Into the slow cooker place your beef and red bell pepper.
  • In a mixing bowl combine the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, green onions and cornstarch.
  • Pour the sauce over the beef and red bell peppers.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the beef is tender.
  • 30 minutes before serving add the broccoli and ramen noodles, stirring frequently until the noodles are tender.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and more scallions.
