Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion peeled and chopped
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 pepperoncini peppers
  • ½ cup butter sliced
  • ¾ cup pepperoncini peppers juice

Instructions

  • Spray a large crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place the chopped onion into the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Lay the chicken breasts over top of the onions.
  • Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix and ranch mix over the chicken.
  • Place the pepperoncini peppers around the chicken and the slices of butter on top of the chicken.
  • Pour the pepperoncini pepper juice over everything in the crockpot.
  • Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is cooked through and fork tender.
  • Shred the chicken and serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
