Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Cookie scoop
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • Microwave Safe Bowl

Ingredients

  • 13 ounces golden oreos about 36 cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate melting wafers
  • Sanding sugars

Instructions

  • In a food processor, grind the oreos until they are fine crumbs.
  • Add in the cream cheese and continue to pulse until well combined.
  • Use a cookie scoop to form uniform sized balls and place them on a parchment paper lined tray. Use your hands to roll each scoop to make a smooth ball (as possible).
  • Place the tray in the freezer for about 30-45 minutes to chill firm up.
  • Melt the wafers in a microwave safe bowl until smooth. Using a fork (or a skewer) dip each ball into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip off.
  • Roll in sanding sugar while the chocolate is still wet so the sugar will stick to the truffle.
  • Set the truffle back on the parchment paper to set. Repeat until all the truffles are coated.
