Ingredients

  • 22 ounces strawberry pie filling
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 15.25 ounces yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter
  • Whipped cream fresh strawberries and mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spread the strawberry filling on the bottom of your 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl using an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, egg, and sugar until creamy.
  • Place spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture all over the strawberry layer and spread around.
  • Next sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top.
  • Slice your butter thin and place all over the cake mix evenly.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden
  • You can serve this warm right away or chilled.
