- 22 ounces strawberry pie filling
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 15.25 ounces yellow cake mix
- ½ cup butter
- Whipped cream fresh strawberries and mint for garnish
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spread the strawberry filling on the bottom of your 9x13 baking dish.
In a mixing bowl using an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, egg, and sugar until creamy.
Place spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture all over the strawberry layer and spread around.
Next sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top.
Slice your butter thin and place all over the cake mix evenly.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden
