🔪 How to Make These Pumpkin Cookies With Cream Cheese Frosting

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla, and cream some more. Add in dry ingredients and mix just until combined.

Add in dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Use a cookie scoop to shape the cookies into balls and place them on the baking sheet.

Then gently flatten. Bake in the 350 degree preheated oven for 12-14 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.

In a medium bowl mix together the cream cheese and butter until combined. Add in the vanilla, cinnamon, and powdered sugar until combined.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
