They are so good with just about everything. We even served them as a side for turkey sandwiches when we had leftover appetizers. You really can’t go wrong. Just heat them in the toaster oven for a few minutes.

We brought these to a party as an appetizer once and they were a huge hit! They were the first to go. and we brought a triple batch! Now we make them as appetizers for so many occasions. They are always a huge hit.

We start with Stove Top stuffing, the classic box stuffing we all know and love. Then we add bacon, whole berry cranberry sauce, orange Jello, orange juice, and orange zest. Bacon Stuffing Bites FAQ

If you have questions about these bacon stuffing bites, then read on. The following FAQ answers the most commonly asked questions about these tasty bites.

How long are these bites good?
They’ll last for 4 to 5 days in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer.

Why are my stuffing bites dry?
You probably didn’t add enough water. This can happen with these bites especially because you’re baking them after cooking the stuffing on the stove.

Why are my stuffing bites mushy?
You went the other way and added too much water.

Why do I have to use pre-cooked bacon?
Pre-cooked bacon keeps the stuffing bites from being greasy. Bacon makes a lot of grease as the fat renders during cooking, and you don’t want that in your bites.

We have tried using regular bacon and it does work but the stuffing bites were greasy. You can use regular bacon but you will have to par-cook it enough to get the grease out and be able to wrap it around the bites. Also we like the fact that it saves time by not having to cook the bacon.
