Ingredients

  • 32 ounces frozen fries any type
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon white vinegar
  • 4 slices American cheese

Instructions

  • Cook fries according to package directions.
  • Preheat a large frying pan over medium-low heat, add the butter, and let it melt.
  • Peel and chop the onion into small pieces and add it to the frying pan.
  • Add the brown sugar and salt to the onion and let it cook slowly.
