I don’t know about you but we like pasta salad when it has been sitting awhile. even made the day before you need it. The flavors meld together and when possible we always make it the day before. If you haven’t tried this with any of the pasta salads you make you really should.

Creamy Parmesan Pasta Salad is an easy peasy recipe that consists of pasta, mayo, frozen peas, lemon juice, salt, pepper and bacon! With those ingredients this is destined to become a new favorite dinner side dish, BBQ or potluck favorite!
HOW TO MAKE CREAMY PARMESAN PASTA SALAD
Boil pasta as directed on package. Add frozen peas in the last few minutes of boiling. Strain shells and peas.
Wash and strain with cold water to cool down the pasta and peas. Pour into a large bowl.
Stir in mayo, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss well.
Top with cooked crispy bacon and parsley.
Toss well.
Place in fridge until ready to serve.
This pasta salad is so super simple because it doesn’t involve chopping and dicing any vegetables. Of course if you want to add any extra veggie you like but we like this pasta salad just as is. Plain, simple, creamy and delicious.

- ¾ cup parmesan cheese; shredded
