It was so delicious!!! I have never seen my husband eat that much meat in one sitting!! Can’t wait to make it again!!!

    1. Thank you Kathy. I’m so happy you enjoyed this! It really is delicious and so easy which is a big plus on our house!

  3. Loved this recipe😋. I will definitely be making it again.Thanks Maria……

    1. Your so welcome Bonnie! So glad you enjoyed it! 🙂

  4. Do you slice it after it’s cooked?

  5. Could you use a pork loin?

    1. Yes you would just need to adjust cooking time depending on the size

  6. This sounds wonderful. Can it be done in an oven If so, how long and what temp. Thanks.

    1. We have always used the slow cooker. But sure it can be done in the oven. I would say 350 degrees and as far as how long really depends on how large/thick the pork is.
The internal temp should be about 145.

  7. For calories it is listed as 38k. What does that mean?

    1. It’s 138 for 4 ounces.

  8. Can I use a 2 1/2 pound tenderloin and still cook it for five hours or do I have to cook it longer?

    1. That should be ok. I don’t think a 1/2 pound will make much of a difference. We don’t always end up with a 2 pound tenderloin exactly.

Is this 5 hours on high or low?

    1. The recipe card has the instructions and its says low 🙂

  10. I’m making this tonite can you add potatos?

    1. Yes you can just make sure they are cut small enough to cook in 4- hours on low. We serve over mashed potatoes so have never made potatoes in the meal itself

Cooked for 6 hrs and it was tough ..smelled good but it was tough.

    1. We have been making this for years and it’s never tough unless you got a bad cut of meat. Cooking longer will make it tough by overcooking. % hours on low is all you need.

  12. Can this be made in the instant pot?

    1. I haven’t but I’m sure you can

Sounds great. I am cooking this tonight. New recipe for me and hope it’s wonderful. My store had these on sale and I am probably wishing I had bought more!

    1. We always buy when meat is on sale. We have a stand up freezer. With the prices these days you have to stock up if you can

I had to cook mine a little longer as each one was about a # and a half. I took out the tenderloins and sliced them, made a gravy out of the cooker, then put the slices back into the slow cooker! That way you could taste the flavors. I think this was a good way to cook a tenderloin!

    1. So happy you enjoyed this recipe!

Made this at Christmas and everyone loved it. So tender and flavorful! I was wondering if you could double the soup to make more gravy?

    1. Yes you probably could or make it on the side

  16. Charlotte says:

What flavor pork tenderloin did you use? I’m thinking the Roasted Garlic and Herb or the Applewood Smoked Bacon. TIA! 🙂

    1. The tenderloin was unflavored. Just plain
