Cuban Peach Cocktail or just plain Cuban Peach is so scrumptious! It is perfect when fresh peaches are in season but also great any time of year. Simply made with peaches, white rum, peach schnapps, simple syrup and garnishes of your choice.
CAN YOU MAKE THIS CUBAN PEACH COCKTAIL WITHOUT FRESH PEACHES?
You sure can. You can use frozen peaches in a pinch if fresh peaches aren’t in season. We have made these in the winter time and they are just as tasty! To make this oh so yummy drink you will muddle the peaches so make sure when your using frozen peaches they are defrosted.
If you want to you can also buy a load of fresh peaches in the summer when they are at their sweetest from the local farmers markets and wash them well, peel them, cut them up, place them on a baking sheet and freeze them. Them when they are frozen we transfer them to a heavy duty freezer bag and have sweet peaches in the winter months for drinks, pies, desserts or whatever we may need them for.
We might as well buy them when hey are at their super sweet juiciest ripest and know what we are getting is the best we can get. We do this with many summer fruits. They are much better than buying frozen in my opinion.

CAN YOU MAKE THIS COCKTAIL AHEAD OF TIME?
You sure can. Just mix it in a small pitcher and keep it in the fridge until your ready to use it. Then stir it really well before poring over ice. Garnish and enjoy. This recipe is for 2 cocktails but you can easily double, triple or quadruple the recipe if your having company.

- 3 slices fresh peeled peach
- 3 oz. white rum
- 3 oz. peach schnapps
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- peach wedge, and mint for garnish.
1. Muddle the peach slice in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
2. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
3. Add the rum, peach schnapps, lime juice and simple syrup.
4. Shake to combine.
5. Fill 2 glass with ice.
6. Pour over Ice and garnish.
