Step 1: Mix the dry ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk the flour, salt, and cocoa powder together. And, melt the chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler.

Step 2: Finish the brownie batter

Once the butter and chocolate have completely melted, add in the sugar and whisk to combine. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before whisking in the eggs, 1 at a time. Add the vanilla and mix. Use a spatula to fold in the flour mixture.

Step 3: Bake the brownies

Pour into a greased 9×13 pan and place in the 350-degree preheated oven to bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out cleanly. Remove and allow to cool.
