🔪 How to Make Grinch Truffles

Making this recipe couldn’t be easier. You’ll be all done in no time!

Step 1: Make the Truffle Mixture

Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. Then, combine with cream cheese, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract (optional). Scoop into round balls and play onto a tray.

Step 2: Melt the Chocolate

Melt the candy melts in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between each. Remove just before the candy is fully melted and stir until smooth. Then, add 1 teaspoon of Paramount crystals to thin out the candy.

Step 3: Coat

Drop the truffle balls into the chocolate and move them around with a spoon to thoroughly coat them. Then remove them and set them on a tray. Top with a heart candy and sprinkles while the coating is still wet. Set and then serve!

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreos
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package Green candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon Paramount Crystals
  • Heart candies
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos into a fine crumb. Combine crushed oreos with cream cheese, vanilla extract and peppermint extract (optional). Scoop mixture into round balls and place onto tray.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave by microwaving in 30 second increments, stirring in between each session. Remove bowl from microwave just before fully melted. Stir until smooth.
  • Add about 1 teaspoon of paramount crystals and stir until dissolved. This will thin out the chocolate so that it goes farther.
  • Drop the oreo balls into the chocolate. Use a spoon to move the ball around a bit, then scoop it out and set it on the tray. Before the chocolate sets, place a heart candy and sprinkles on top.
  • Allow the oreo balls to set until completely firm.
