Lazy Black and White Cake Mix Cookies

Lazy Black and White Cookies – Easy and delicious! I just love quick dessert recipes. And when I get rave review for something I spent little time on, that makes me very happy!

Lazy Black and White Cake Mix Cookies are so simple. Almost to simple. So did I ever tell you I have the cutest and funniest husband ever? lol Well  a few years ago I made these cookies for a pot luck and well, I just didn’t feel like cooking so I  made these quick and easy  cookies that I had made when I was in high school  for the first time  no less. ( so that was many moons ago) .

He asked me what they were called and I said I don’t know know Lazy cookies?  So now we call them Lazy Ass Cookies between  the two of us and now all of you 🙂

I mean don’t we all like a quick and easy dessert? Especially when you have so many other things going on in the day.  Sometimes the last thing you have time for is making a dessert for a party.

And I really don’t like buying something at the store if I don’t have to. That’s just a last resort sort of thing. These actually take less time to make than going  to the store and picking up a dessert and it sure costs a lot less.

I change things up and add whatever I have on hand. Always 2 cups or so of nuts, chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, white chocolate,  peanut butter chips, M&M’s ect.

In the fall I have made this with spice cake mix and pumpkin chips and nuts! So good!! The pumpkin chips are hard to find. When I see them again I am buying a bunch and stashing them in my deep freeze to keep on hand.
