Cookie Fudge
Who doesn’t love a cookie fudge? Any kind of fudge is drool worthy we think. We just can’t get enough of fudge in our house. It is so easy to make. Fudge is one of our go to recipes for holidays, parties and anytime we need a quick dessert.
How to make M&M Sugar Cookie Fudge
This m&m sugar cookie fudge is so easy to make. As I said your going to start with sugar cookies. You can make your own homemade recipe of you can use a prepackaged or boxed recipe.
For this recipe I usually use a store bought bag of sugar cookies that you make yourself. You know the kind where you just add an egg and some oil ect. Honestly I can’t see wasting homemade sugar cookies for this fudge. The bagged or boxed recipe are seriously delicious.
Ingredients
- White Chocolate – melted
- Sugar Cookies – smashed
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Red and Green M & M’s
- Christmas Sprinkle Mix
- White Chocolate Chips
- Melt the White Chocolate in the microwave at 15 second intervals, and stir until smooth.
- Place the Sugar Cookies in a food processor, and pulse them until they’re fine crumbs, and add to the melted chocolate.
- Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk, and stir until completely blended.
- Spray an 8 X 8 pan with Cooking Spray, and then line the bottom of the pan with Parchment paper.
- Pour the Fudge into the pan, and spread to smooth, with a Spatula.
- Sprinkle the M & M’s on top, White Chocolate Chips, and sprinkle the Christmas Sprinkle Mix on top of the Fudge.
- Place the Fudge in the refrigerator overnight.
Can I use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate?
You sure can! And it tastes just as amazing! We really love white chocolate but you can use any chocolate you like. Believe me it all tastes delicious. Holiday time make all three flavors and it will all go quick!
You can even use almond bark either white or milk chocolate. We always have some in the pantry.
How should leftover fudge be stored?
Well we never have leftover fudge seriously! But if you do… When stored in an airtight container in the fridge, this m&m fudge will stay fresh for up to 3 weeks. If your storing on your counter it will stay fresh for about a week. Again just make sure it’s in an air tight container.
Can I freeze this candy fudge?
Yes you can freeze this fudge for about a month or so. Wrap it in plastic wrap then store it in an air tight container or a freezer bag.
We store it in a few serving pieces so we can pull out a few pieces to nibble on as we want them. that being said we also make a double batch because one batch will never last for leftovers. I mean lets be reasonable here.
We hope you love this recipe as much as we do. You can change out the M&M’s so it can be made for any holiday with any color M&M. Pastel is perfect for baby showers and Easter. Fall colors are great for Thanksgiving. You get the idea!
Of course M&M’s aren’t the only thing you can use. Other things to try
- crushed Oreo’s
- nuts
- peppermint candies
- toffee chips
- any color sprinkles
- jelly beans
No matter when you decide to make and enjoy this, you’re going to love it, and so will everyone else. Make sure to put this one in your favorites.
