- Electric mixer
- Baking sheet or cookie sheet

Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar plus extra for rolling cookies
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ⅓ cup oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon orange extract
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 ¼ cups flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar, wine, oil, salt, vanilla, orange extract, orange zest and baking powder. Add in the flour and continue to mix until the dough forms a ball.
- Lightly flour a flat surface and turn the dough onto the surface and knead the dough about 10-12 times.
- Divide the dough into 20 equal balls and roll into logs, about 4” in length. Form the rope into a circle shape, gently pressing the ends together, slightly overlapping.
- Toss the cookie in extra sugar and place on a baking tray about 2” apart.
- Bake the cookies for 22-25 minutes, until they turn golden brown on the edges. Remove and let cool.
