Slow Cooker Smothered Hamburgers

These slow cooker smothered hamburgers are loaded with delicious onion gravy, slow cooked, and perfectly delicious over mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • .87 ounce brown gravy mix
  • Parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine the ground beef, onion soup mix, worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, egg and bread crumbs.
  • Mix well and divide into 4 patties.
  • In a large skillet over medium high heat brown the patties 2-3 minutes on each side until they are browned.
  • Remove from pan and place into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • In a bowl combine the cream of mushroom, water and brown gravy mix.
  • Pour the gravy mix over the burgers.
  • Cover and cook on low 6 hours or high 4 hours.
  • Serve!
