Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter room temperature
  • 2 ½ cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream

Middle Filling:

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon

Streusel:

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter room temperature
  • ¼ cup flour

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 12 cup bundt pan with cooking spray containing flour and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the flour, salt and baking soda and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the eggs, one at a time, making sure to fully mix the egg in before adding the next one.
  • Add in the vanilla and beat.
  • Alternate adding the flour and sour cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  • Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to make sure everything is well mixed.
  • In a small bowl, mix the ¾ c brown sugar and 1 ½ tsp cinnamon.
  • Pour about half the cake batter into the bundt pan.
  • Sprinkle the middle filling over the batter and cover it with the remaining cake batter.
  • In a small bowl, mix the remaining brown sugar, cinnamon and flour.
  • Crumble in the butter and sprinkle it over the top of the cake.
  • Place it in the oven and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.
  • Let rest in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before turning the cake out onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • To make the glaze, place the powdered sugar, vanilla and 1 tablespoon of milk in a small bowl and whisk.
  • Add milk as needed.
  • Drizzle over the cake.
