🔪 How to Make This Boursin Crescent Tree

This is a very simple recipe to make. It’s mostly just a matter of stuffing and wrapping. Take a look!

Step 1: Prep

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

Step 2: Prep the Crescent Rolls

Separate the crescent rolls into individual triangles, then use a pizza cutter to cut the triangles in half.

Step 3: Fill and Roll

Divide the Boursin cheese evenly between the crescent halves, spreading it just a bit on the wider end of the crescent. Then, roll up the crescent starting from the wide end. Repeat for all crescent halves.

Step 4: Make the Tree

Beginning at one end of the baking sheet, make the tree base with 2 rows of 2 crescents in the middle of the baking sheet.

Next, construct the tree, starting with 7 crescents at the bottom, 6 for the next layer, and so on until you have a tree layout.

Step 5: Bake

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the crescents are golden brown. Then, brush the tops with melted butter, sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces crescent rolls
  • 11 ounces Boursin garlic and herbs spreadable cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Open your first can of crescent rolls and roll them out onto a cutting board.
  • Separate into 8 triangles, and then use a pizza cutter to cut each triangle in half.
  • Divide 1 package of the Boursin cheese evenly between the 16 crescent halves, spreading it out just a bit on the wider end of the crescent roll. Roll up the crescent rolls, starting from the wide end.
  • Place the crescent rolls onto the parchment paper in the shape of a tree
  • You’ll use 4 crescents for the tree base, 2 rows of 2 crescents in the middle. Then, start building the tree. The bottom row will have 7 crescents, the next row up has 6, then 5, etc.. Just try and keep the rows centered as you work your way up.
  • Repeat this process with the 2nd can of crescent rolls and the 2nd package of Boursin, adding the crescents to form the rest of your tree.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until the crescents are golden brown.
  • Brush the tops of the crescents with melted butter, and sprinkle parsley over top.
  • Serve immediately, these are best enjoyed warm.
