The secret is that cones that are hidden between that thick, delicious layer of green frosting…but we think that it’s a pretty adorable trick to sneak by.

We just love how fun these cupcakes look and love how they taste even more. They’re a simple treat to make the holiday time one to remember as well. If you can bake these up and decorate them together as a family, you’re certain to be creating wonderful holiday memories that everyone will forever cherish.

Can you use a cake mix for these cupcakes?

Absolutely. If you’re short on time or just need a shortcut in baking, you can use a cake mix to create these simple cupcakes. If all you’re going for is to be able to decorate them, a shortcut can be a great way to cut out a lot of time and steps as well.

Will the green frosting stain?

There’s a chance the whoever eats the green frosting is going to have a green mouth and green teeth. Don’t worry, it’s not permanent. It will just look funny for a little bit of time and then go back to normal after that.

Have fun making up these adorable Christmas Tree Cupcakes. They’re the perfect way to start the holiday baking season off right! They are always a hit at Christmas bake sales and any place there is a child running around!
