🔪 How to Make This Easy Honey Glazed Ham

Combine the melted butter and honey in a small bowl. Massage the mixture into the ham and in between the slices.
In a bowl combine the sugar, salt, onion powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika, and allspice then pat half the other mixture onto the ham.
In a saucepan or skillet add three tablespoons of water, and the spice mixture and boil until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour or brush the glaze over the ham and then broil for a couple of minutes.

Here are a few tips that you can use to help make sure that this easy honey-glazed ham recipe turns out perfectly for you when you make it.
- You will need a large oval crock pot. We used an 8 quart. Depending on the size of your ham a 6 quart may work.
- Don’t remove the lid from the slow cooker while the ham is cooking, doing so can increase the cooking time needed.
- Watch the ham closely while it’s under the broiler as it can burn quickly.

Ingredients
- 8 pound bone-in spiral sliced half ham
- ½ tablespoon butter melted
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ teaspoon onion powder
- ⅓ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Trim the ham if needed and place it in the slow cooker.
- Combine the melted butter and honey, then massage the mixture over the ham, getting in between the slices a little.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- In a bowl, combine the sugar, salt, onion powder, cinnamon, nutmeg,
- ginger, paprika, and allspice. Pat half of this mixture on top of the ham and add the other half to the pan.
- Add 3 tbsp of water or ham juice to the pan with the spice mixture and boil until the sugar dissolves.
- Broil the ham with the sugar mixture on top for about 1-2 minutes.
- Brush or pour the glaze over the ham, then broil again for another 2 minutes until slightly caramelized.
- Serve warm or cold.
