Brown Sugar Bourbon Grilled Steak Tips are simple to make! First start by cutting your strips into like sizes of your choice. We like ours on the larger size. 

In a medium bowl, whisk together the steak tip marinade. The marinade consists of bourbon, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sea salt and black pepper to taste, chopped garlic. That’s it. Very simple but very good!

We have been making steak tips like this for years. I swear brown sugar and bourbon go so well together it can make anything taste good.

 

We have been meaning to try this on shrimp or salmon but haven’t yet for some reason. Every time we make tips we  say we have to do it.  Someday!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb sirloin steak tips
  • ½ cup bourbon
  • ½ cup brow sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium-size bowl, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, Worcestershire, and soy sauce and garlic. Pour into a large zip-top bag and add steak tips.
    Seal, squeezing out any  excess air. Let meat marinate for 2 hours.
    When ready to cook, drain and season meat with salt and pepper. 
    Cook to desired doneness. We use high heat 4-6 minutes on one side then turn a few minutes more on other side.
