Honey Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Honey Roasted Pork Tenderloin – a family favorite and always a huge hit.  One of our go to meals.

We eat a lot of pork tenderloin in my family. I love that it’s easy to make and there is always a different flavorful recipe that will satisfy my family

I make this for company along with whipped potatoes or  Roasted Parmesan Potatoes  It’s just so simple to make and can be prepared ahead of time.

The flavors of the honey, orange juice and thyme give the pork a nice mellow flavor. And the gravy it forms is perfect over mashed potatoes. I also like serving this with either green beans or glazed carrots.

Ingredients

  • 2 1 lb pork tenderloins
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • ¼ cups honey
  • 3 tsp orange juice
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ cup chicken stock

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375.
Season the pork tenderloins and place in a roasting pan.
In a separate bowl, mix together the honey, juice, oil and dried thyme.
    Pour over the pork.
Add the broth to the pan.
Bake until internal temperature reaches 150 ( 35-45  minutes).
    Basting frequently.
    Note-
If desired you can add the pan juices into a saucepan with a small amount gravy flour and reduce until slightly thickened.
Serve over the sliced pork. I don't do this. I prefer the gravy lighter.
