I don’t know about you but sometimes that’s just about all the time I want to spend on making dinner.

They take less than 10 minutes to prepare. So once you get everything in the instant pot you are basically done until its time to get your tortillas ready.

Anyone that follows our blog knows we like to make easy, simple recipes. Not only because we just don’t have time to cook big elaborate meals but because we like simple but delicious food.

 

These Instant Pot  beef street tacos are just perfect. Well in our opinion they are anyways.  These Instant Pot Steak Tacos are awesome and sure to be a hit.

 

Everything gets tossed into the instant pot for a really quick and easy meal. Yeah for quick and easy!!  Plus, the meat is so tender and delicious. You can  use the meat to make rice bowls instead of tacos.

We use a 6 quart instant pot . It’s a great size for everything from family meals to desserts. 

How to make Instant Pot Steak Tacos (Carne Asada) : 

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Beef for Carne Asda (small stewed beef pieces)

  • 5 limes; 3 for juicing

  • 1 tablespoon cumin

  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

  • 1 bundle cilantro

  • 1 white onion

  • Corn tortillas

  • Vegetable Oil for Frying

Instructions:

  1. Place beef into instant pot. Diced half of the white onion and place in instant pot.

  2. Squeeze three limes and pour juice over meat into the instant pot. Add cumin and cayenne pepper and stir well. Top with half of the cilantro chopped. Stir well. 

  3. Place lid on instant pot and set to high pressure for 20 minutes. Release pressure once instant pot stops counting.

  4. Heat oil in small pan to medium heat. Lightly fry corn tortillas. 

  5. Chop the rest of the cilantro and onion. Slice remaining limes. Serve with lime slice, cilantro, and onions, cheese, avocado sour cream ect.

    My husband has deemed these the best tacos EVER!!!
    The only thing that I added was a little bit of beef broth to the pot… perfection!
