Step 1: Prep

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

Step 2: Combine the Dry Cake Ingredients

Whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Step 3: Add the Wet Cake Ingredients

Add the water, lemon juice, vegetable oil, and vinegar to the dry ingredients and mix until the cake batter is combined.
