All Purpose Maple Dijon Glaze – Delicious , quick and easy. I find myself using this on so many things now. We love it.

 

All Purpose Maple Dijon Glaze has become one my my favorite go to topping, glazes.  I use it on so many things.

I have used this on salmon, chicken,kielbasa,pork tenderloin, chicken wings and even vegetables.  I could easily eat  this just as it with a spoon. I just love the flavor. I mean its sweet from the brown sugar and maple syrup and savory from the dijon mustard and whole grain mustard then the slight kick from the crushed red pepper flakes. They all blend together to give you the perfect flavor.

 

 

This All Purpose Maple Dijon Glaze, if you don’t use it all will stay well in a glass jar or plastic container in your fridge. Many times w e are just making 2 pieces of salmon or 1 small package of kielbasa and will have some glaze left over. We never, EVER throw any away!

That little bit is delicious drizzled on some roasted potatoes tomorrow night!!  Just roast some  potatoes as you normally would then the last 5-10 minutes of the cooking time you can drizzle the glaze on the potatoes and finish cooking. It’s a nice change from your regular way of making potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 6 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tablespoons whole-grain mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Let ingredients set for at least 30 minutes before using glaze.
