🔪 How to Make Oreo Bat Truffles
Making this oreo dessert recipe only takes about 30 minutes. A little mixing, melting, and dabbing is all it takes!
Step 1: Prep
Slice about 15 Oreos in half and remove the frosting. Crush the remaining Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor.
Step 2: Make the Truffles
Combine the crushed Oreos, vanilla, and cream cheese in a mixing bowl until thoroughly mixed. Then form balls by rolling them into a 1 1/2-tablespoon ball and chill for about 30 minutes.
Step 3: Melt the Chocolate Coating
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals until it’s fully melted. Then, add paramount crystals to thin it out.
Step 4: Coat the Truffles
Remove the chilled balls from the refrigerator. Then, using a spoon, roll the balls individually in the chocolate, fully coating them, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Repeat until all truffles are coated.
Step 5: Decorate the Truffles
Immediately press an Oreo half into each side of the truffles to look like wings. Hold them in place for a few seconds to ensure they don’t fall off. Add 2 mini chocolate chips to the top of each truffle for ears. Chill for 15 minutes. Finally, add a small drop of melted chocolate to the back of two candy eyes and place them on the front of each truffle. Enjoy!
