Step 1: Turn the slow cooker on high

Start by turning the slow cooker on high. 

Step 2: Add blueberries and granulated sugar to the slow cooker

Add in 4 cups of the blueberries and the granulated sugar.

Step 3: Mix until the blueberries are evenly coated in sugar

Mix well until the blueberries are evenly coated. 

Step 4: Whisk together cake mix, cinnamon, and brown sugar

In a separate bowl, whisk together the cake mix, cinnamon, and brown sugar. 

Step 5: Top blueberries with cake mix

Sprinkle evenly on top and DO NOT MIX.

Step 6: Top with remaining berries

Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of blueberries on top.

Step 7: Add sliced butter on top

Evenly distribute the slices of butter on top. 

Step 8: Cook until the topping is golden brown

Place on the lid and allow to cook for 2½ – 3 hours or until the cake is golden brown.
