Making this delicious and comforting chili is super simple and the slow cooker does most of the work. Just follow the directions in the recipe card at the bottom of the post and you will have a delicious meal that’s perfect for winter in no time.

Step 1: Add the chicken and sauce ingredients to the slow cooker

Add the chicken, chicken broth, navy beans, diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, buffalo sauce, onion powder, garlic salt, and ranch dressing powder to the slow cooker.

Step 2: Cook the buffalo chili

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours. Remove the chicken and shred.

Step 3: Add the chicken and cheese

To the slow cooker add the shredded chicken, cubed cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. Cover and cook another 15 minutes or until both cheeses are melted.  Top with more cheese and scallions if you prefer when serving.

  • 10 ounces tomatoes with green chilies

  • 1 ounce ranch dressing seasoning one evenlope
