Copycat Texas Roadhouse Steak Rub Recipe – Only a few ingredients to make this super-easy steak marinade, and I bet you have them in your pantry already! Delicious on steaks, pork and chicken.

We love the Texas Roadhouse. They have great food and this Copycat Texas Roadhouse Steak Rub taste just like the real deal.  And it is so simple to make. Let’s face it when it comes to steak the meat is the star of the meal. The rub is just to enhance the flavor.

Copycat Texas Roadhouse Steak Rub consists of garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, brown sugar, kosher salt, chili powder, garlic salt, kosher salt, cornstarch, paprika and tumeric.

The best time to put the seasoning on the steak is 40-60 minutes before you grill the steak and always let your steak sit out at room temp for at least 30 minutes.  When picking out steaks to grill we usually pick out Ribeyes,  NY Strip, T-bones, Porterhouse, Delmonico ect.

Get your grill nice and hot before you put your steaks on. Cook the steak for 4 minutes or so on the first side, then flip. It should be brown and charred. Then follow the cooking times below depending on how you like it cooked:

Rare: 4-5   Medium Rare: 6-7  Well Done: 9-10

Make sure you let your meat rest!! This is very important. Let your steak rest for at least 5 minutes.  If you cut into your meat right away all the juices will run out and you will have a dry steak!
