Herb Onion Crusted Chicken - This simple chicken recipe is a go to dinner for us. It is one of our favorite meals and takes just minutes to put together.
- 5-6 chicken breast, cut into pieces
- 3 tbsp butter melted
- 1/4 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 container French-fried onions crushed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly crush the entire can of French Fried Onions and put into a shallow pan. Add, mustard powder,black pepper, garlic powder,and fresh parsley.
Beat eggs and coat chicken with eggs.
Place chicken breasts one at a time in crushed onions and press down to coat the onions to the chicken, turn over and press again, pat onions against all sides of the chicken pieces.
Place chicken in a lightly greased 13-by-9-inch baking dish - if any crushed onions remain, put them equally on top of the chicken breasts.
Pour melted butter over chicken
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. I flip chicken after about 20-25 minutes
