Bowls of ingredients on a counter labelled with text.
  • Egg Whites: They’re the base of the filling, adding protein and holding everything together like a thin omelet layer.
  • Tortillas: They turn the whole thing into a quesadilla, giving you that crispy, handheld structure.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: Melts everything together and adds that gooey, cheesy goodness you want in every bite.
  • Bacon: Brings the salty, smoky flavor that really makes the dish pop.
  • Spinach: Adds freshness and a little balance to all the rich, cheesy, bacon-y goodness.

Expert Tips

  • Don’t Overfill: Overfilling the quesadillas will make them hard to flip and cause the filling to ooze out as they cook.
  • Keep the Heat at Medium: Cooking on medium heat ensures the inside is hot and melty while the outside remains golden and crispy, not burned.
  • Apply Gentle Pressure: Applying gentle pressure while the quesadillas cook allows the filling to melt and meld, keeping it inside where it belongs.
