🔪 How to Make This Ham Sheet Pan Dinner

Making this delicious ham dinner is so simple. Just follow the step-by-step directions below and you will have a delicious meal in no time at all.

Step 1: Prep the vegetables

Start by washing/rinsing the Potatoes, dry on paper towels and set aside. Rinse and Peel the Carrots, and leave them whole.  Cut the Potatoes in half, and place them in the pan. Place the Carrots in the pan next to the Potatoes, and open the Green Beans, and place them in the end of the pan.

Step 2: Prepare the ham

Open the Ham, if you’re using a small sliced Ham, place 2 to 3 pieces stacked on top of each other, and a Pineapple slice on top of the Ham, and a Cherry in the center, at one end of the Sheet Pan. Continue across the Sheet pan, filling the end of the pan with the Ham slices, and layering the Pineapple slices and Cherries in between.

Step 3: Season the vegetables

Place the stick of Butter in a microwave safe dish, and melt the butter in the microwave. Using a small basting brush, brush the Butter on the Potatoes, Carrots, and Green Beans. Sprinkle the Vegetables with Garlic Salt, Garlic Powder, and Seasoned Pepper.

Step 4: Add the honey and brown sugar

Drizzle a little Honey over the Ham, and sprinkle a little Brown Sugar over the Honey.

Step 5: Bake the dinner

Place the Pan in the Oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until the Vegetable are tender, and easily pierced with a sharp knife. When the dinner is done, remove from the oven, and add the Minced Garlic to the Green Beans, and stir in the pan.  Serve, and Enjoy!

🥄 Equipment

You only need a few kitchen tools to help you make this simple family-friendly one pan meal. Gather these tools and get ready to enjoy this tasty recipe.

  • knife and cutting board
  • small bowl
  • large baking pan with rimmed edges

🥫 Storage

Leftovers – Place any leftover ham sheet pan dinner in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Reheat – When you are ready to enjoy the leftovers, reheat them in a 350-degree oven until they are hot throughout. You can also microwave individual portions as needed.

Freeze – I don’t recommend freezing the vegetables from this meal, including the potatoes. However, you can freeze the ham for up to three months in a freezer safe bag or container.

💭 Tips

  • If you have regular potatoes on hand and want to use those instead of the baby potatoes, cut them into a 1 and a half inch or two inch chunks to roast them.
  • Try to get your potatoes into roughly the same sized pieces so that they cook evenly.
  • If you are using fresh green beans instead of frozen, add them after 15 minutes of cooking time so that they don’t overcook.

Notes

If you’re using Ham Steaks, you’ll need to cut them in two or three pieces. You’ll probably need about 3 Ham Steaks for this dish. I’d cut them in three pieces, and place two pieces stacked, just like the photo shows, and then layer them with the Pineapple slices and Cherries. ALSO: I used Land O Lakes Butter Balls – they’re fairly new, and they come in a resealable package, in the dairy case of course. They look like little round scoops of Butter, and they’re great for dishes like this, so you can just place them where you need them.
