Did your family serve a form of American Goulash growing up? I remember eating it every Friday in the school cafeteria.

They called it american chop suey and it didn’t taste anything like this but when your kids it was a treat for cafeteria food. Just the thought of it brings back some good childhood memories. But now this goulash is amazingly delicious. A grown up version of what I ate as a child.

One of my favorite things about Old Fashioned American Goulash, the delicious flavor, ease of cooking is that it’s such a frugal meal to make. Buy some ground beef when it’s on sale.
