Strawberry Shortcake Roll Ice Cream Ingredients

It only takes a few simple ingredients to make this delicious ice cream. You’ll find everything you need easily at your local grocery store.

  • Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake Rolls
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Vanilla
  • Softened cream cheese
  • Strawberry pie filling
  • Ice cream cones

Strawberry Shortcake Roll Ice Cream Instructions

Making this ice cream is just as easy as gathering up the ingredients. It only takes a few simple steps.

Step 1: Whip the Whipping Cream

Whip the whipping cream in a stand mixer until thick and stiff peaks have formed.

Step 2: Add the Remaining Ingredients

Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and cream cheese and blend until smooth and creamy. Then, fold in the strawberry pie filling. Finally, slice three of the cake rolls into small pieces and fold them into the ice cream.

Step 3: Freeze

Place the ice cream mixture in a loaf pan and freeze it overnight.

Step 4: Serve

When ready to serve, scoop the ice cream into cones or a dish and place 2 or 3 slices of cake rolls on top of the ice cream. Enjoy!

Hint: The easiest way to fold the ingredients into the whipped cream is using a spatula.

Tips

This recipe is incredibly easy. It’s so easy, in fact, that we only have one tip, but it’s an important one.

Fold, Don’t Mix – When adding the ingredients into the whipped cream, carefully fold them in. Do not mix them in. Mixing will remove all the air you incorporated into the whipped cream when you whipped it.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Little Debbie Strawberry Cake Roll's
  • 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese – Softened
  • 1 21 ounce can Strawberry Pie Filling
  • 1 package Ice Cream Cones
  • Little Debbie Strawberry Cake slices – to top

Instructions

  • In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, place the Whipping Cream, and whip until thick, and stiff peaks have formed.
  • Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk, Vanilla, and add Cream Cheese. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the Strawberry Pie Filling. Slice three of the Cake Rolls into small pieces and fold into the Ice Cream mixture. Place the Ice Cream mixture into a Loaf Pan, and place the pan in the Freezer, Overnight.
  • When ready to serve, scoop the Ice Cream into Ice Cream Cones, or dishes.
  • Slice 2 or 3 more Cake Rolls into slices, and place on top of Ice Cream Cones. Serve, and Enjoy!
