Can I use peppermint candies instead of candy canes?
Of course! We just used candy canes because that is what we could find everywhere at the store this time of year. But if you’re making this during a time when there aren’t any candy canes, just use some peppermint mints or something else along those lines instead. You might have to work a little bit harder to break them all up, but it will still have the same taste and texture once done.
How do I store this White Chocolate Peppermint Bark once done?
If you’re lucky enough to have any leftover, you need to plan on putting the pieces in an airtight container for safekeeping. This will keep the flavor locked in and the air out. If you think that you’re not going to be able to eat it all in a reasonable amount of time, pack up the pieces and store some in the freezer instead. Plus, it’s a nice treat to be able to eat once the holiday season has passed! And it is delicious frozen.
