🥫 Storage

  • Refrigerate: For longer storage, you can refrigerate the fudge. Place it in an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. It can last in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
  • Freeze: If you want to extend the shelf life even further, freezing is a great option. Wrap the fudge pieces individually in plastic wrap and then place them in a zip-lock freezer bag. 💭 Tips

Here are a few tips to ensure your easter fudge turns out perfectly every time:

  • Don’t Rush the Melting Process: When melting the chocolate with the sweetened condensed milk, keep the heat low and stir constantly. This prevents the chocolate from burning and ensures a smooth, creamy texture.
  • Press in the Eggs Gently: After pouring the chocolate mixture into the pan, gently press the Cadbury eggs into the surface. If you press too hard, they might sink to the bottom.
  • Chill Thoroughly: Patience is key when waiting for the fudge to set. It’s tempting to cut into it early, but chilling it for at least 6 hours, or ideally overnight, gives you the best texture.
  • Use a Hot Knife for Clean Cuts: Before cutting your fudge, run your knife under hot water and dry it. This will help you make clean cuts through the fudge without it sticking to the knife.
