Homemade Taco Seasoning – If I had a penny for every time I use taco seasoning I’d be rich!! We use it for everything. Taco’s of course, taco pasta (one of our favorites) I use it in my chili’s, soups, to flavor some of my chicken and pork dishes ect.

  Homemade Taco Seasoning  is so easy to make. I always have all the ingredients on hand. I make a batch put in a a jar and keep it in the pantry.  Simple and easy peasy.

This homemade taco seasoning recipe is the perfect amount of spices for your seasoning. You can adjust any of the seasonings to suit your taste. This homemade taco seasoning is quick, easy, inexpensive, and full of flavor.

My favorite way to make tacos is to use Homemade Taco Seasoning for ground beef, 2 tablespoons per pound  of ground beef. That’s is all you need. 

 

 

 

A great way to save money and control the ingredients.  Make a large batch and store in an airtight container to have on hand! It lasts a good long time and you can easily adjust it if you want to add more spice as you go along. for instance  if your feeling a little spicier one night just add in a bit more red pepper flakes.  Once I made this, we never went back to the old envelope stuff!

Ingredients

  • ¼ C. plus 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 ¼ tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 ¼ tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 ¼ tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 2 ½ tsp. Paprika
  • 1 ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all together and store in an air tight jar or container . Use 2 Tbsp per 1 pound ground beef or to taste
