Did you know that Nutella was invented  in the 1960s? It was created by an Italian pastry maker, who wanted to find a way to use hazelnuts, which were in abundance in his region of Italy. He created a spreadable paste made from hazelnuts and cocoa, and Nutella was born.

Tips for Nutella cheesecake Brownies

Making these brownie bars is pretty simple and straightforward. But I do have a few tips to help you make the best cheesecake brownies possible.

Use room temperature ingredients: This is especially important for the cream cheese. If your cream cheese is not at room temperature, it will not mix as smooth and you will likely have lumps in your cheesecake filling.

Do not overmix: Once you add the eggs, be careful not to overmix. Overmixing can cause your cheesecake bars to crack.

Line your pan with parchment paper: This is not a must but it does make for easy removal and gives you nice, clean lines when cutting into squares.
