Whether we’re having a little party at our house or trying to share a new low carb recipe with all of them that they’ll love, we’ve found that this cauliflower recipe is one of the best ones that we’ve found.
It has a secret ingredient that really gives it that extra deliciousness. Doesn’t every recipe seem to have some sort of secret ingredient?
Now this recipe does have a bit of brown sugar ( that is the secret ingredient) in it but we use Swerve Brown Sugar Replacement instead of real brown sugar and you will never know the difference! If you want you can use regular brown sugar if your not a carb watcher. Believe me you will notice a difference if you don’t use it.
Can you leave the brown sugar replacement out of this recipe?
Sure you can. We just happen to love the flavor it gives with buffalo sauce and other spices. I think you will love the flavor it gives this recipe.
Do you have to wash cauliflower before you eat it?
You do. It’s just like any other vegetable or fruit that you buy at the store. You’re going to want to clean off any of the dirt, debris. Of course also possibly even chemicals that are on the surface so that it’s clean and safe to eat.
Once you wash it, shake it off to get rid of the excess water and let it air dry for a short period of time. We use a paper towel or a tea towel. You’re going to want it to be pretty dry so that it holds the dry rub and also roasts up nicely in the oven.
How do you know when cauliflower is done roasting in the oven?
You’re going to want to keep an eye on it. With the cauliflower being white in color, when it’s roasting in the oven it’s going to change color. This means that it will start turning a little brown and you’ll want to watch it so it doesn’t burn. It actually roasts pretty quickly so it’s not going to take it very long at all.
Are you looking for a great recipe that packs a lot of crunch? Then make certain to give this buffalo cauliflower a try! You’re not going to be disappointed!
