BBQ sandwiches are a staple of summer around here, and one of our favorite ways to make them is in the slow cooker. We can cook our beef until it’s falling apart any time we don’t want to fire up the grill or on rainy days. It’s perfect!

🔪 How to Make Slow Cooker Cowboy Sandwiches

Making these sandwiches is incredibly easy, and we all like that! The majority of the work is done by the slow cooker. After that, you just make the sandwiches and enjoy!

Step 1: Add the Ingredients to the Slow Cooker

Add the chuck roast, BBQ sauce, half of the cooked bacon, the onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and half the diced jalapenos.

Step 2: Cook

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours until the meat falls apart with a fork.

Step 3: Shred the Beef

Drain most of the liquid from the slow cooker, reserving about a cup, and shred the beef using two forks.

Step 4: Make the Sandwiches

Add a slice of cheese to the bottom buns. Then, top with shredded beef, bacon, jalapenos, and crispy fried onions. Add the top bun and enjoy!

  • 3 pound chuck roast
  • 2 cups bbq sauce
  • 1 pound bacon cooked and crumbled

  • 2 tablespoons worcheshire sauce

Instructions
