🔪 How to Make Cheesy Garlic Bread Pull Apart

Making this tasty recipe is easy. Just follow these step-by-step instructions and or check out the full recipe in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

Step 1: Cut the bread

Make large 1” slices diagonally across the entire loaf of bread, but do not cut through to the bottom, stop about ½” from the base of the bread. Turn the bread the opposite way to create a diamond grid pattern and slice the whole loaf to create 1” cubes that are still connected on the bottom.

Step 2: Make the garlic butter

Finely dice the garlic and add to the dish of melted butter. Add the salt and pepper and stir. Chop the parsley into small pieces add to the butter and mix.

Step 3: Assemble the bread

Place the loaf of bread on a large piece of foil and brush the top of the bread with the butter mixture. Take small amounts of cheese and press into each crevice. Spoon the remaining butter mix evenly over the top and allow to run down into each section of bread.

Step 4: Bake the bread

Wrap the foil around the loaf and place in the 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove the bread and fold down the foil to expose the top half of the bread return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the top turns golden brown. Remove and serve immediately while the cheese is still warm and gooey.
